You're not usually the center of attention. In some cases, this can be a good thing. When the Killer picks up another Survivor, Background Player activates for 10 seconds. When you start running, you gain 50% Haste for 5 seconds. This perk cannot be used while Exhausted. This perk causes the Exhausted status effect for 20 seconds. Exhausted prevents Survivors from activating exhausting perks. Haste increases Survivor movement speed.
